\n<\/strong>All children possess great creative potential and art is especially important. \u00a0Art encompasses all developmental domains within a child’s development and lends itself to physical development and the enhancement of fine and gross motor skills. \u00a0Art activities also support children’s social and emotional development, they learn about themselves and others through art. \u00a0Most importantly, art provides an opportunity for children to make a personal statement about their uniqueness, allowing them to express emotions like happiness, joy, and pride. \u00a0We believe at Luna Park Preschool that art is an important tool for helping to build a positive self-identity and is offered every day in a variety of mediums and materials. \u00a0The personal and creative triumphs of each individual child are always highly cherished, celebrated and prominently displayed.<\/p>\n
